Our festival, held over two days on the second weekend in September, is entering its 21th year. The racing happens on 11 km long Skaha Lake in beautiful, sunny, Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. The event also features a beverage garden, a wide range of vendors, lots of great food and over 2,500 athletes. This event will be a regional qualifier for Dragon Boat Canada Nationals. The event features a beverage garden with proceeds going to Survivorship – The South Okanagan’s Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team, with plenty of food vendors, entertainment, and a marketplace. Plus the best festival site in BC — a sandy beach and a race that’s visible for the entire 500 m course — and a large grassy area under the trees for team tents.
